Thank you for joining us for Juneteenth 2025!

On June 19, Red Wing High School’s Black Student Union hosted a Juneteenth celebration. The event featured a basketball tournament at the Red Wing YMCA, a student-led history talk, and a community celebration at Central Park with music and family-friendly activities, plus free food from JT’s Chicken & Fish and The Mac Shack & Specialties.

The Red Wing community showed up in full force to support Juneteenth, and participants enjoyed free haircuts by RahBlends, face painting from The Party Lady, and music by hip-hop artist Twain. RiseUp Partnership was proud to act as the fiscal sponsor for this event.
