What drew you to RiseUp Partnership? Why are you invested as a Board member?
Several years prior to joining the board I was a mentor. As time passed, I became more involved with the organization for things beyond mentoring and was eventually asked to join the board.
What is your favorite program or event RiseUp Partnership does?
Mentoring.
Why would you encourage others to get involved in supporting RiseUp Partnership – whether through donations, volunteering/mentoring, attending events, or spreading the work?
RiseUP Partnership provides invaluable support and resources to the area youth, giving them the opportunity to set themselves on a path to succeed as they become young adults.
What is your favorite thing to do/favorite spot to visit in Goodhue County?
I enjoy so many things in Goodhue County, it’s difficult to narrow down to one! Love hiking the bluffs and walking the paths along the river. Also enjoy riding the Cannon trail, between Cannon Falls and Red Wing. And Knudsen’s Caramels. Those are unbelievably yummy.
