Youth Leadership: Community Youth Council Attends EPC Day on the Hill

The Community Youth Council (CYC) is elevating youth voices across Goodhue County through leadership development and advocacy. These young leaders are focusing on issues like expanding access to driver’s education, increasing student representation on school boards, and strengthening youth voice in community decision-making.

On March 25, CYC members traveled to the Minnesota State Capitol for Education Partnerships Coalition (EPC) Day on the Hill, where they had the opportunity to speak with lawmakers about policies impacting children and families.

Members are also preparing for community events such as Salsalicious and Healthy Kids Day, while continuing outreach efforts across multiple school districts.
